Last year’s carnival saw large crowds after a two year break because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue’s annual carnival will be held nightly starting at 6 p.m. from Wednesday, June 21, through Saturday, June 24, in front of the fire station along Route 211 in Amissville.
Hours: Wednesday, 6 p.m.-10:30 p.m.; Thursday 6 p.m.-10:30 p.m.; Friday 6 p.m.-11 p.m.; Expanded hours Saturday, 1 p.m.-5 p.m. and 6 p.m.-12 a.m.
Parade: Starts at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 22; line up at 5:45 p.m.
Prices of rides: $1 for singles; $20 for 24 tickets; $20 for armbands. Number of tickets per ride varies from 3-4 tickets.
